I can't say which ship is which because it would be giving out to much but I can answer some of the other questions.
If the ship looks like heavy gray metal, chunky, industrial or economic it is TEC. If it looks elegant, sleek or majestic and shiney it is probably Advent and if it is dark, 'scarab'-like with glowey parts with some weird protrusions or wing like structures it is probably Vasari.
W/r to colors. Each race has certain sections of the ship that are colored by the team color. However, the materials each race use for their ship construction is affected differently by a number of factors in the environment (e.g, the star, the skybox etc). The TEC rough metals aren't so reflective so the environment doesn't affect it much, but a shiney Advent ship is very much affected. What you also aren't seeing is how the colors change dynamically as the ships/camera move about. (If you look for it in the trailer you won't find it - this wasn't implemented until after)
