The Planet is on fire?

Anyone have any idea as to what that "fire like" explosion on the side of the plant is?

i think its some weapon of some sort. Might be the fading out mushroom cloud, after a nuke

haha....i knew it thought it looked similar to the solar system images ive seen when zoomed out. wasnt sure if that image would still carry over though if you were zoomed in on a planet though and looking out into the cosmos for future stomping grounds
