Are we Spoilt ?

Played my first all out battle today with heaps of captal ships etc - WOW this is one great eye feast even at beta stage .
In my opinion afer todays battle this is light years above any other game of this style ive played.
I must say id be happy with the game as it is now - cant wait to see finished product.
Love the battleship sounds and fire from front looks fantastic with multiple capital ships engaged.(dont change it )

great job Ironclad - maybe you guys should have done Startrek Legacy   
what a game that would have been with your abilities.

    

I think we may be spoilt by the quality of the beta - how goods the end game going to be

I felt a little better when I sold it on ebay for 30 bucks... But only a little better...

Were you able to keep track of your heaps of capital ships? When I get more than four or five I always feel like I spend way too much time hunting around for them, checking their hull strength and if they've leveled up.

I think there should a button you can press to cycle through your capital ships.

I'll give you guys a hint if you're having trouble keeping track of everything. Use your control groups. I'm playing a game right now, my fleet contains 465 frigates, 5 level 10 battles, 5 level 10 carriers, and 4 level 10 colony capitals. Anyway. What I do to keep everything on track. I use my control groups. Control group the entire fleet to ctrl .1, then I split that group up, bombers ctrl 2. seige frigates ctrl.3 capitals can be all in their own groups as well(by type) although it's only really needed in one group for all of them. and if you really wanna be sneaky, have another group to make 2 fleets with your one, use this for flanking and splitting up your fleet fast. I find when I do this, I have a lot of control in my battels when I have huge amounts of ships, You guys should see my screen, haha totally covered. Anyway, hope that helps. I believe tab cycles through selected ships, I'd have to check though, so don't yell if it's not k:).

Agree on Legacy what a disgraceful game - i was lucky bought it home loaded it on saw it was a pile of shite - had some clear contact at home ( Kmart here puts circular clear contact over end of disk container)so cut new circle out stuck over end told a white lie and got refund .

worse game ever released.( close to fraud going on graphics on back of box )

so your right i'll never mention that subject again

the AI use any logic in which ones it chooses to level up? I wish it would level each one up 1 , and then each up to 2, then 3 and so on... So far It seems to like to level certain ones up to level 2-3 before making sure the rest are at 1.

I'd prefer having few high level abilities rather than more low level ones. I hardly have enough antimatter as it is, and would not have enough to use all abilities. I'd rather the antimatter I spend does more, ie. higher level ability.

Not to mention Dunovs chasing ships all over the system trying to recharge shields...
