Well as we all know JU just got a bit of boost to it... NOw at the time of the writing of this I am working on a Gateway 2000, which everyone should know as... shitty by anyones standards these days. Well before the little tweaking Brad the others did... it too me about, lets say 30 seconds to load a page... and thats just the JU backing not the actual page.
Last night I know my girlfriend and I could not get into JU so we stayed up a good bit longer than we were suppost to waiting on it to be accessable again. When we both went to bed it wasnt accessable. Well I woke up around 7 am, AUS time. I go to the site and LOW AND BEHOLD!
The page loaded so quick its not even funny... I actually let out a laugh. This coming from the computer that it took to 30 seconds to load a page... now it takes about 2 seconds... and thats how it was on my normal comp... and its got some normal 1.4ghz in it. I dont game so that pretty good for me. BUt this shitty comp Im on now its like mind boggling at the load rate.
All I can say is, Thanks to Brad and anyone else that ran through the coding and tweaked and made it as fast as it is now.
