I think his short term memory is shot.
6 hours dancing on a street corner will wipe most people's short term memory, and put you into long term (My job is, basically, to stand on a street corner with a sign and get attention -- dancing being a good way to do this). And expecting me to connect name and a random E-mail address to a thread I saw over
ten hours before hand... Even without the mind-numbing nature of my job, the PM (which I saw before I re-reached this thread, of course) was completely un-connectible to this thread.
Edit: Just to be clear, had you actually given me information past a seemingly random PM with an E-mail address, it would have gone a
long way to getting something useful from me. I think you forgot the nature of the forums -- its a
long turnaround on replies, because people drop by
as they have time.
I think Ron is missing the point about just plastering your emails addresses where everybody can see them.
No, there
is no point. You don't even get a lot of spam from doing it -- as in, I don't see an appreciable difference in the level of random spam received.
