I have played the game now for about an hour...just getting into it really and enjoy it so far...for the most part. I will have to defer to the wisdom of the game designers and beta testers but my initial impression is that:

1. pirates attack too ofter (I have not tried to actually out bid any bounties so maybe I am just getting beat up on by the other AI players)

2. Game speed, even after i turn it to slow is a little too hurried for me. I know I can pause the game and issue orders (great feature) but the actual flight speed of the ships seems to be a little hurried. I only wish i could slow it down even further but that is just my opinion.

All in all, i look forward to getting further into this game and discovering it's surprises as I get more used to how it works.
