Hey there, I realise this should probably have been put in the "Technical" part of the forums, but every time I try to post there I get hit with an error message.
Anyways...
Earlier today I ordered Sins of a Solar Empire, the digital download from Stardock. While I was doing this, I figured I'd pick up another copy for a friend, so I ordered two, thinking I would simply give him the second serial number to register. However, we've encountered a problem, apparently he cannot register his game because I've already registered mine. He can't register it via his email because it was purchased on mine, and I can't register it via my email because it's a maximum of one per email address. It seems like we're pretty stuck, any help would be greatly appreciated.
(Here's the exact messages from trying to register)
"The serial number you have entered does not belong to the email address you have entered. To register this serial number you must use the same email address in which you used to purchase the game."
"Your Sign Up attempt was not successful. The email address you have chosen is already associated with an account. Please enter a different email address and try again."
I have to say, I'm utterly clueless of what to do here. I've contacted Stardocks support, but it seems like it might be a while. I've tried changing info via the previous purchase logs, but it seems impossible. Anyone know how we might fix this problem?
