Packaging Issue

I received my copy of the so-called Collector’s Edition today.

 
However, the box says indeed collector’s edition, but there is ONLY the DVD+MANUAL inside !!! NO Tech tree poster, no hotkey card, no MUSIC CD and no ARTWORK INSIDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could also calm down, realize that Stardock is indeed not fraudulous (and their shipping is done by a contractor) and contact them to sort it out.

Certainly the fact that everyone else who ordered a Collector's got one properly should be saying something

Easy for you to say, guys.

If you know that I had to pay an additional $15 to get it shipped to Europe, than again $15 to get it passed customs (Europe), you can imagine how pleased I was.

Even I Stardock sends me the 'missing content', it will again cost $15 to get it passed customs.

If you are civil when you explain it to Stardock, I suspect there is a good chance they will take responsibility for the shipping cost.

Always try being civil before going off of the rails. Works wonders.

Eliah1, remember, this is Stardock...not EA, not Microsoft, not Epic, not Midway, not someone else. Contact with them and interact with them. I'm sure something can be worked out. You're not just another number here like you are other places.

Ah, the world of sparkly screens, random phone disconnects, extreme hold times, people you can't understand on the other end of the phone, and laptops that get delivered with the casing put together wrong. Stardock and Dell are not on the same playing field.

So you live in India? Because every time I contact dell support I get someone with an Indian accent. Not that I have anything against them (They've always resolved my problem), I just find it funny that someone in India is dells support guy! Obviously cheaper to hire them.

To the OP calm down, Stardock support is amazing, even if it is located in Stardocks dungeon.

I was cheesed about the $30.10 in shipping I had to pay... but I got the complete contents of the box. I find it interesting that you come here to complain about it.

Hey, I've got to make one correction here to be fair. I can't edit my post, but I do want to say that Dell's online support chat is really helpful. I can't badmouth them. My $3000 worth of performance laptop several years ago was a disappointment back then, yes, and led to a bunch of complaining, but $3000 is a lot different from $40. Having missing documentation in a game is a lot different from cheapo hardware in a high end system. It was really annoying to be referred to as a number.

Stardock will take care of you. I know that you are pissed right now. Just take a moment to vent and then fire off an e-mail. Everything will turn out. They are good folks... the "good" guys if you will.

Orignal Poster; the world does not resolve around you. There are not teams of men making sure every package contains everything inside of it. There is not a special service dedicated to making sure everything is supposed to be as it should. Mistakes happen.

Hmm, well I know myself when I bought it the music disc was missing. I didn't know it, I was walking around the mall and the guy found me and brought me back so he could give it to me. I was lucky that way cause the only reason why I got the collectors edition was cause of the music and because I thought that you got that Mycolors desktop theme for the game too. BTW, can any confirm or deny this?

But anyways, just chat to Stardock like everyone says. Its a company, but its a human company not like EA Games
