Given the story line and backstory to this game it seems really intersting.  I initially thought just from the intro there would be a really epic single player campaign or 2.  Something like Homeworld perhapes for a storyline to go with the game play.  It seems all there is is maps, custom, random, etc.  I really thought I would find out who is chasing the remnants of a once mighty empire.  How did the splinter race come back so strong, why now.  Seems like an excellent opening for an expansion which is fine.  Just seems like there is something missing is all.
