Even with "unfair" computers it's so easy it's not even fun. I just played in a 2v2v2v2 with all unfair computers and I just swept through the galaxy hardly being opposed. My ally didn't even expand out of the first few planets he took. Here's a screenshot: (I'm yellow, green is my ally. I started next to him and went all the way around taking everything to this last pink planet that we're attacking there)

The computers never mount large assaults, they just skirmish all the time and expect to take planets that way; they never defend with any vigor they just retreat when you phase in. The games are just hours and hours of easy slaughter and all you have to do is make a large force and phase it in to somewhere that you want and it's done. There's no micro all the spells are autocast except the ultimates but managing your army anyway is a joke; the little side bar moves up and down all the time because ships are phasing and getting destroyed and it moves it on it's own, to see the stats on the heros you have to mouse over it ( yes it shows life and shield and mana in the bottom bar but it doesn't have the totals so it's pretty much useless) You can't tell what the research and auras are doing to your units too it just has an average damage and shield and life for everything instead of having a number and then +any modifiers that are happening. The heros are too hard to find; you have to scroll though this huge bar to see them instead of them being in their own place (That doesn't move around!) that's easy to see. I'll play against humans and see if it's more fun that way but so far it seems not very impressive.
