Blame Canada!
Anyway, "oh my gosh" is perfectly suitable when you have seen a planet blown up and eaten by a giant thing!
I don't think your thinking about this realistically. Oh Oh. Know it all taking over.

[/e] : Ok, Scientists have proven that expletives and cuss words are a nessessary part of our language, after long study of not only humans, but other animals (they found that, in their own way, other animals cuss to). Linguists have begun theorizing, using this new knowledge, that expletives serve as a sort of warning and venting system for our emotions, letting others know how we feel and also letting us vent off some steam in the prossess. While they have yet to determine a reason as to why we consider certain words "bad" and certain words "Ok", I personally believe it to be centered arround nothing more than ingrainging and the connection of that word to an expletive. For example, Shit as a word should have no negative conotations whatsoever, its just a sound. However, it is also amongst our most powerful expletives, both because it is a very easy and satisfyingly harsh sound to make, and because it's meaning in our language is much similar to many of the phrases we might use to describe the situations in which it would be used. I for one find that they are infact nessesary to release and represent intense emotions.
I have no problem with cussing used properly. Just cussing for the sake of using "bad words" is juvenile. The marza is using cussing in a proper fashion.
And also, don't deny it, If you just saw a planet explode, you would probably be using some far far FAR worse cuss words that just Shit.
