I've tried to explain it to you, if you don't see it, you're no worse off than if you do[/quote]
Now that was a bit of double Dutch if ever I've seen it, but don't on't worry about me, Mick... I've known all along that MS puts tags on beta software, and that I can opt not to install it, but I've all this pent up frustration and the beta tagging seemed as good as an excuse as any to vent some of it.

Does the Service Pack actually do anything? When it finally comes out is it worth the upgrade?
I have noticed zero improvements and zero bugs,so it's a toss up,ALMonty
According to the Windows blog page, this service pack is intended to tweak/add to various elements of Vista, (more details here) rather than increase speed and/or performance... which were addressed in SP1. For example, bluetooth, blueray and wi-fi support has been included and/or upgraded. Some of these items have been previously released as standalone packages with Windows Update; however, I read nothing that claims over-all speed/performance increases for Vista in SP2.
