What can I say, I was hopeful.  Besides, Annatar always seems to know what's going on...how should I have known he was going to lie to me?

A lot of people typoed it in the forums and I ran with it.  It certainly sounds like something the Advent would be involved with, and "entrancing" someone could be espionage/diplomacy, so it's not entirely unrealistic, although I'm not too sure that's what I'd want "Entrancement" to be.  Maybe the third expansion...?

Hopefully this will help to clear it up for those that believe that there is no lore in the game right now...there is plenty of lore.

Shouldn't you be asking for more story content ingame, then, rather than a mishmash of more random races?

 You have a character that against insumountable odds. The TEC. Are they not in their self a character? The game is different that Starcraft or Halo. Those games focus you on a small part of the big picture. Sure you might feel more intimate with the few character those type of game present to you. I for one have found the lack of a campaign or Dev made storyline to be refreshing. I would love for this new expansion to add more back story and more indepth lore. And honestly if you want a character to attach yourself too. Make one up. I have and so have the few ppl I play with. We write our own stories. Play them out. Create our own part of the big picutre. Its the beauty of this sandbox world the Devs have given us. I find myself the opposite of you. I am more emotinally attached to this game than any other game. Only cuz I have taken the void the Devs have given us and filled it with my own story and characters. I suggest everyone do it.

I would never expect it to, in fact it was what I was hoping for for expansion 3 but then I have a sneaking suspicion the 3rd expansion will include something beginning with camp and ending in aign.

Either way I'm a devoted follower already.

Although game lore means very little to me I understand it's importance in terms of franchise and appealing to story lovers.

That was in reference to the future, not the next micro expansion specifically. Even then, it's not a sure thing.

Weird that you say it that way...suddenly reminded me of the worlds no.1 RPG, D&D.

-WHAT IS IT? yells the group at Raistlin who once again was just trying to build up suspense.
