seems as if, while speaking her mind and heart, she's been revealing more of hersself in a much less intellectual sense.
pretty easy to find sources reporting a 2nd set of semi-nude pix has surfaced but i particularly like this one by l steven seiden who's identidied as "seattle spiritual living examiner" on the examiner dot com page on which this can be found. link
"On May 4, 2009, a photo of Prejean partially nude appeared on a celebrity gossip blog. The directors of the Miss California USA pageant are investigating Prejean for potentially violating a contract clause against prospective pageant candidates having been photographed "nude or partially nude."
On May 5 Prejean stated that she had posed for that shot as a seventeen-year-old model and that she sees no problem with it, saying that, "I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swim wear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be.”
So, she's a evangelical Christian who is not perfect and has opinions. Hopefully, we can all learn something from her public controversies. May we all be tolerant of each other's beliefs, path and appearance."
dunno bout yall, but i'm more inclined to be tolerant of those who show tolerance themselves.
beyond that, where were her parents while their 17-yr-old daughter was posing topless?
one possibility is divorce court accusing each other of being gay according to the new york daily news which offers this glimpse inside their ideal opposite-sex marriage link
"Prejean's parents flung a series of homosexual allegations against one another.
In one of the documents, Prejean's father describes a confrontation he had with her mother in 1996, in which "Ms. Prejean accused me, in front of our daughter, of homosexuality."
Another excerpt quotes a court-appointed doctor who said "The mother questioned [within hearing of the girls] whether [her father] was a homosexual or had a homosexual roommate."
Court papers dated May 16, 2000, include the following statement from a court-appointed counselor: "The mother also alleges the father told the girls their stepfather was gay, that all men with mustaches are gay."
Prejean's father "acknowledges talking with the girls about the stepfather's brother being gay, not the stepfather," said the papers."
