Bonus Fail: whatever happens will happened, but that doesn't mean everything is pre-determined. To put it this way: If I post this, it was always going to happen, but if I didn't, then it never would. The junction is that I had to "choose" which path to take, thus choosing what action I made.

Win: actually figuring out some implications of a theory, and then writing a book about it.

Fail: leaving theories to those with the desire.

As for the Novikov principle, 1) please spell it properly. It just bugs the crap out of me to see you not do so (<-pet peev of mine). 2) you are correct, except you cannot change the past AT ALL. If you go back, then you can effectively only observe events, you cannot actively partake in said events yourself.

Fail: fluid timelines are SO last year.

Win: writing a story where FTL actually makes you go back in time.

Fail: it wouldn't be made into a movie (BLASPHEMER!!!) but it would be made into a small group of high-quality video games I hope.

Win: I of course would have to produce/make said video games. Otherwise, yes, they would be poorly crafted fail-games.

Fail: Still not knowing who is killing off the Vasari.

Bonus Fail: The douchebags will catch up to the Vasari and the TEK, Adven, and Vasari will work together to destroy the douchebags. Which is such a transparant chain of events.
