She has no fancy degrees in clinical sex therapy, or any of that, but it doesn’t make her any less knowledgeable on the topic of sex and relationships. That aspect of her education was more of the School of Hard Knocks variety. Still, she pairs her informal education well with an education major and psychology minor (Kent State, for the curious), to provide a down to earth, real life kind of approach that is easy to relate to, yet has underpinnings in an understanding of the human psyche.
Holly is not afraid to take on the difficult topics, topics that are hard to talk about, topics that might be shuffled aside as being inappropriate, topics that might offend. She does not shy from these, but instead treats them with dignity or at the very least, respect, and discusses them openly and fairly. There are no taboos. She is not a stranger to relationship difficulties, and as a result, has developed an insight that many so-called experts or coaches lack.
As a professional in the adult services field, Holly has encountered nearly every aspect of sexuality from its most ordinary to its most strange. She learns from each experience, and brings that wisdom to her readers. She won’t hesitate to tell you just what she thinks you’re doing wrong, but she’ll help you work out ways to fix it, too.
So if you have a question, a problem, or just a bit of curiosity and the topic is sex…ask Holly.
