I'm not sure that this has been brought up before but I've seen it in playing the Beta. You can select spell of mastery as a victory condition but still play on a map that does not have a full set of shards on it.
It would be nice to either not allow spell of making victory to be selected if you're playing on a map without at least one shard of every type or to populate any map with at least one shard of every type if the spell of mastery victory condition is chosen.
