So whats on the unlabeled island in the center? There is always something secret and awesome and legendary on islands. I am guessing maybe Arnor?

I think it's the black isle or some shit, and someone went to it and it's forbidden...shit, I can't remember.  There is something dark and secret there, so dark and secret, I don't remember it any more...but I knew it once...

Yes there are definetly similarities to arda in the first age.

i wish there was a way stardock could give us the original world map as a playable option in FE for those of us that wants to risk the performance hit unless it's simply not possible with the current FE engine

Imho the map should be very easy to make using the map editor in-game. Who will claim the fame?

Or you can just import the map from the Destiny's Embers content, and edit it to work in FE

I nominate heaven fall to take the claim to fame.

I have one complaint about the world map. I fear "pre placed boats" means maximum potential. I would like to see "Boats" as an item you purchase at the shop, which allows your unit to "embark".  That would be amazing, especially if the world wrapped.
