So I've been enjoying elemental since the prerelease day, despite the flaws. Yes, it has a ways to go, but it has a lot of promise. I've noticed a few oddities that no one else has mentioned yet, so I thought I'd post them here in case it's just me being dumb. Maybe there's an easy fix?
1. Some resources, when built, seem to do nothing. When used, you'll get the "supports city X" or something like that. "Linked to," maybe. It seems about 10-20% of the time, they just don't support any city. I'm in a game right now where I have 3 gold mines right outside my main city. Only one of them provides any gold, though. What gives?
2. Whenever I get the Shrill Cave, or farm, or whatever it's called, I never get to build shrills for my army. It's frustrating after I spend so much time researching this. Maybe this is a case of #1, but I always see it.
3. When in the build function, when I zoom from cloth to 3d or vice versa, I lose the buildable tiles display. Kind of a small thing, but it makes a difference.
4. When I cast Confusion on an enemy, and it drops the attack value, I get correspondingly less gold for the victory (and with the spell bug, it's always 0 now). Sadly, I can't cast Berzerk on the enemy troops to drop their defense and get more gold. Boo.
I know I'm forgetting a few that I haven't seen either mentioned in the forums or on the new master list of things to improve on. Any quick fixes while waiting for the next patch?
