The 4th annual Desert Bus For Hope charity fundraiser begins again tonight, and I thought I'd help spread the word. They've raised over a quarter million dollars in the last 3 years in support of Child's Play, and their hoping to break records again this year.
Basically, it's a Victoria, British Columbia group of students/sketch comedians who embarrass themselves publicly for donations, auction off gaming/geek memorabilia, and play Desert Bus, the world's most boring game, 24 hours a day, streamed live, until the donations stop. Last year the event ran for over 5 days straight, and raised $140,000.
It's a good cause, so donate if you can, and watch it anyways if you cant.
