It is available on Amazon Prime, if anyone is a member (that is where I discovered it, while looking for episodes of 'Top Gear', a show I am not crazy about, but I love cars).

Yeah, Nathan Fillion is great! Also a few members of the Firefly cast had roles on Castle over the years. And Molly Quinn is TO DIE FOR gorgeous!

Sadly, the TV powers that be see fit all too often to cancel shows with huge potential.  Flash Forward; The Event; Eureka; 666 Park Avenue; Alphas; Ringer; Sanctuary; Alcatraz and so on.  I was really getting into The Event and Alcatraz and both were prematurely snuffed out.  Worse still, most of these shows were replaced with so-called reality and lifestyle shows, neither of which are entertainment and never get airtime on my TV.  I mean, seriously, take a look at how much of that crap fills the airwaves as opposed to decent 'scripted' shows... there's entire channels dedicated to the crap for f**k sake.  Like if I wanted to know about the Kardashians and Snooki WoW Diddlysquat, I'd knock down their doors and beat it out of them.

Season Two of Copper starts this summer. I have to say that Copper was and hopefully remains an awesome show. It's a cop show set in 1864, during the civil war. The story takes place in % points section of New York City, where the gangs ruled everything and everyone was crooked. I could go on and on, but I feel safe in saying that if you watch the first episode, you'll either love it as much as I did or you won't care for it at all. I don't think there is any middle ground for this one.

In either event, Luther is a top show... and season 2 is eagerly awaited.

I recently finished watching Shetland and Blackout from the UK.  While only short [2 and 3 episodes respectively] both have twists and turns in their plots and keep the viewer interested throughout.

I saw 2 episodes of a british show called Black Mirror last weekend. First episode was bit meh and kind of twisted, i thought, the second was utterly brilliant though. Very unconventional stuff.

Oh shit, I forgot all about Defiance and I even forgot to DVR it.

Defiance also had, more or less, the same basic plot as Terra Nova (outsider dude becomes sheriff, someone wants to destroy the town from within), combined with the same vibe Tabula Rasa had. Not really a proven combination for long lasting appeal, but I liked it.

I watched Defiance and liked what I am saw, now if only I was in the internet on consoles age right now, I could be playing the game on Xbox 360 in addition to watching the show. As I understand it, the game leads into the show to a certain extent.

My sister brought around a DVD with some episodes of Cult for me/us to watch... yeah, not bad, not bat at all.

Basically it's about a TV show that goes beyond a TV show, with a sub-culture and sub-plots within the twists and turns of the plot.

Yup, worth watching.
