Help cannot get any of my mods to work since 1.80

Hello people this is my first post on this forum, since patch 1.80 I cannot get any of my mods to work. I have made sure the new mods are  for 1.80 but still nothing. All it shows is the mod but there is no checksum I have looked everywhere on the internet and forums for the answer. Just want to play sins again with soa2 or some other mod and i cannot do it. I am using steam.

Mod path is based on the version of Sins, so when it gets updated by Steam the mod path changes.

Hint:- Use the Options -> Mods -> Show Mod Path button to find the new location, and then move mod folders, such as SOA2R, from the old to the new mod directory.

If the checksum is zero that indicates you may have the mod directory at the wrong level, eg SoA2's entity.manifest would be in

C:\Users\locksquest\My Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.80\SOA2R

assuming locksquest is your Windows account name.

I did do that I place it in computer user my documents my games ironclad games sins of a solar empire rebellion mods 1.80 have played mods on it for the last 1 year with no problems but now nothing.

I am thinking that it may be windows 8 because there is at least 4 ways to get my user slash games to the mod directory but when I unzip in one location it shows up in the other locations.

A checksum of zero means the game could not find any of the mod files. Likely your file structure is messed up (your extraction software probably created an extra folder when it extracted the mod) . If you can see the mods in your mod folder I doubt it is an OS issue.
