Which I version of SOASE should I buy?

Sooo I'm thinking of buying Sins of a Solar Empire on steam and I want to get the whole package. I thought it was easy enough, go to steam and find a gold or complete edition... Apparently its not that easy... I fugured out that Rebelion is the last expansion and the only bundle purchase is the Trinity version... So I am very confused now... I want to get the complete package and I wana know which one should I buy. I'm curently downloading Rebelion from piratebay to see if it has all of the features from the other DLC's so I know which one to buy. If anyone of you can tell me which one is the complete package please tell me.

Rebellion has everything in Trinity and more, plus it's where the vast majority of the community is (meaning there are alot of cool mods being developed for it or already released). I would therefore say get Rebellion, it has everything that Sins has to offer in one game.

I figured... Just thought I'd come clean... Don't see any harm in it since I'ma buy it anyways. So basically Rebelion is the full pack with the defense and diplomacy DLC?

  • Entrenchment
  • Diplomacy
  • It's own stuff

It also has two DLCs (Forbidden Worlds and Stellar Phenomena) which are only available for Rebellion.
