I will get a better look at one when they have them in-store here, though I expect they'll be somewhat pricey.

As much as the Intel unit is very, very nice, not to mention light and thin, I may have to settle for drooling and a Surface.

After having a bit of a play with my niece's Surface, though, it would be a more than suitable second choice and likely more affordable, me thinks.

I have a few other purchases to make before I can think "tablet" anyway, so I'll have plenty of time to assess things prior to the buying stage.

Yup, I joined that line recently, but I somehow doubt I'll get in first and torture with a purchase of this lovely unit... as much as I'd love to make you drool and turn green with envy. 

I certainly do want a Windows tablet to replace the Android unit I have, but Intel products are not known for budget prices and I may have to opt for something less expensive.... though the hope for an affordable price hasn't completely expired as yet.
