Ok i know i said i wasn't going to since the UI is so bad. But i ended up doing an impulse purchase. To be honest i kind of wish i wouldn't have bought it yet. Not that it's a bad game but just because it's only half the game. The UI is still something that bothers me but i think i've beat that poor horse enough and will leave it alone.
It feels a lot like it's predecessor and that's a good thing and a bad thing, i mean god knows there wasn't enough hours in the day to play that one so it's good in that sense but bad in the sense that we don't have so many features with GC3 yet that i might as well play GC2 (speak about dated UIs lol).
I think i'm going to play it very sparingly until a new patch comes out, i mean combat right now is just a minor explosion and i get these little notices that say "confirm combat" or something like that with only an "confirm" button and nothing else. I don't even know where that battle was or if i won or lost. Don't get me wrong i know this isn't going to stay this way. It's just that i think playing the game this early in beta and lacking this many features was a bad idea, it's going to instantly give a bad impression to people who aren't as open minded or understanding.
So to be clear, great start but a long way to go before we get everything thats needed.
