I generally play the peacekeepers in my games until an AI declares war on me. Then I will defend myself and even go on the offense. So the big bad freaking overbalanced peacekeepers showed up and wiped out 5 of my 8 starbases in one turn. Why? Because they were being the "peacekeepers". But, here is the frustrating thing about it. I was playing a race I created that was similar to the Terrans. The Drengin and Yor declared war on me before the peacekeepers showed up. I saw them attack my bases and left a large Drengin force alone, even though the Drengin would have been obliterated. So, I reloaded a past save and gave away a bunch of crap (credits, techs, and resources) to the Drengin and Yor to entice them to a peace treaty. About 20 turns later the Drengin declare war on me again and the stupid peacekeepers wiped out my bases and left the Drengin alone AGAIN!!
So, the peacekeepers suck out loud! I think it would be awesome to have them in the game IF they would only attack the AGGRESSORS!! Or in other words, they should attack the race that declared war, not the race who was originally at peace! Please fix this! As it is, I quit that game immediately. No point in playing it further, it was no longer fun. It completely ruined the entire game for me, that I had spent hours playing, in literally 1 turn of peacekeeper attacks.
Thanks,
Damon
