Hey everybody! I don't know about you, but I feel like the forum has been a little bit of a downer lately. Its no one person's fault, and there is plenty for us to talk about that isn't perfectly positive, but personally I felt like we could use a change of pace.
And! I'm a voracious self promoter (at least when it comes to GRM), so I figured I'd run a contest to try and cheer myself up and push GRM at the same time!!!
WINNER GETS A DLC PACK FROM ME!
To win?
Design a new ship for use with Gauntlet's Race Mod for one of the existing GRM races! Post it on the workshop and link it here, or otherwise email me the files via Gauntlet@gmail.com for review! When the contest is over, I'll pick the winner or winners!
Don't have GRM? Is something wrong? Can I help you? Otherwise, go get GRM: https://forums.galciv3.com/466227/page/7/#3582914
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) If you win, you must be willing to accept your DLC via Steam, DLC not to exceed the value of $6.00 USD, but otherwise, you may choose which DLC you want. If you have all DLC you may postpone your prize until a later date. Postponed offers may or may not expire in 2017 or upon my death.
2) By submitting, you agree to me using your design in future installments of GRM, with proper crediting of your contribution. Only winners will be included in GRM, and I reserve the right to choose multiple winners, in such an event, each winner will be rewarded as stipulated in #1.
3) The new ship may be built off of one of my designs, or, it may be made from scratch, but maintaining the stylistic elements of whichever GRM race you choose is definitely recommended. For example, if your design is for the Terran Sovereignty, it makes sense that you use some of the pre-existing terran turrets provided by GRM. On the other hand, you could wow me with an experimental turret design!
4) Bonus points for NOT choosing to make a ship for the Terran Sovereignty.
5) Contest ends September 18th! Winners to be chosen by September 21st!
Thanks for reading and feel free to ask questions!
NOTE: I couldn't find any forum rules against doing this, but if I have breached them in any way, my sincerest apologies.
