Hangs at exit after clicking the button to exit to windows

I have to end task in task manager to get it to quit.  Doesn't happen every time but most times so far.  After playing a game so after 30 minutes or more, long enough for the AI on normal to get so close to a win as to be pointless to continue.

 

Win7

Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti (I have the game ready driver for ashes)

12 GB RAM

i7-2600

Well I am short 4GB of RAM from what it says I need...

That's the "Recommended". 8GB is the minimum. You have 12GB, so you should be set.
