Yes indeed the current diversity in ASHES maps is very basic and simple, but I also know that at this time the priority goes to other stages in the development of this game, we have to keep in mind that this team is not composed of many elements but they are good.
I Also make maps to GreyGoo, not playing AOTS because Zoom and the very small units and GreGoo due to Zoom but can´t stop appreciate the amazing maps of GreyGoo is probably the best of these last years.

What I want to say is that AOTS will probably be better, they have all the knowledge on the technology,there is no reason to not be.
At this point the map editor in the game is extremely important for both (players and developers) its the pillar of a game.
What I ask to AOTS team is dont be afraid to risk, this game has a lot of potential, but will take some risk decisions ,dont put out and take advantage of other ideas that have been successfully and improve them.
Only then this game will be an icon in this industry of DX12.
Have more diversity in the game .
