Hi there...

I was wondering if there is any possibility for a PBM system in GalCiv3? I enjoy GalCiv a lot and I like the mulitplay, but the games can be extremely long. I've had huge sussess with playing a game called Armada 2526 multiplayer over email. The basic idea is that all combat is forced into autoresolve (not really an issue for this game) and every time you hit the end turn it just emails your data to all the other players.

It has been so great in Armada over the years to play this way. You just login while you drinking yoor coffee in the morning spend a few mins on your turn and get on with it. Games can go for a long time, but as there is so little effort in organising people to be online at teh same time and have hours and hours free all at once it doesn't matter. I really think it is the perfect way to play a 4X game.

Dose anyone else like PBM and if so would you like it in GalCiv3? Would it be even possible? Is it something that could be done through modding?
