I've been playing around with all of the settings and no combination seems to actually fix this.
In the game the units seem to look completely reasonable. But the terrain itself is almost featureless. There are some smudges of colour but in no way any distinct "ground" pattern.
Is there some way to make the ground appear? Very difficult to play like this.
