I was watching my anti-air ground units really give something a good blasting, and determined that it was my own dreadnought repair drones! I think this should not happen, friendly fire and all. If it helps, I'm using the "Boom" technique. Just build a bunch of units, and that's where I saw the conflict.

Additionally, since we're on the dreadnought topic, I noticed that one of the available upgrades was a "prefamulated amulite" hull armor repair. I was just wondering about the mechanics of this: Is it applied with a reciprocating dingle arm, as to prevent side-fumbling and sinusoidal depleneration? How does this affect the cardinal grammeters?
