Small recommendation/request to improve Zeus graphics:
Make it into chain lightning that moves between effected units???
Right now, it looks a bit like a lightning bolt that is wagging it's tail over/across the enemy units.
It's as though the graphics overlap (lightning overlaps with brutes), but the lightning doesn't really seem to interact with the targets much (no apparent material interaction or physics there).
ALSO:
There are these bluish, point-like shots that my troops seem to direct at buildings.
They seem to blow smarties pretty efficiently.
I think they come from Appolos, although I might be getting the unit names confused.
All the same, I suspect people will know what I am talking about.
Perhaps give these shots a little more glow?
Right now, they just sort of look like little blue dots.
AND ON THAT NOTE:
The moment I wrote "glow" above, it made me realize something.
Shots don't seem to effect illumination/shading on units very much???
Not sure if this is happening to some degree already, but is it something that could be enhanced?
(I've just stared at a couple of screenshots to confirm, and this definitely does seem like it is understated, if it is happening. You just seem to get a blobby glow overlayed on the general location of the shot. It doesn't seem like it effects material contrast/texture.)
A better sense of material/physics in this sense would be very cool.
... not that the present state of the graphics is anything to be unhappy about...
... especially insofar as camera can rotate in any direction....
... just small thoughts on improvement...
