Hello, I am trying to use a combination of Midjourney and ChatGPT to create more civilizations as the AlienGPT feature has many issues at this current point in time.

I found in C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Factions that there is a .faction file to any new faction one creates. 

My question is how can we open these files to edit them properly?

When opened in wordpad or notepad, they are just a garbled mess.

When opened in a csv, or excel, they are also garbled messes.

Is this something we need to create an executable for to edit into whatever code is contained within these files?
