I am in the late stages of a game and I am experiencing a number of issues including hard crashes (I cannot make them happen on demand so I have not provided a save file for them) and this one: I think the battle predictor has lost its mind!
The following screen snapshot shows that my 10 ships are predicted to experience a "Total Loss" against the Krynn Syndicate's one lone ship. It shows that my fleet of ships only has 6 Beam attack and 1 each of the 3 defense types. However, if I hover over my ships (they are all identical) they have the attack and defense values shown in the second screen snapshot below. The Battle Predictor shows that the Krynn ship has 204 Beam attack, 100 Missile attack, and 216 Kinetic attack, but when I hover over the Krynn ship I see what is in the third screen snapshot below. Each of my 10 ships individually is stronger than the Krynn ship.
The fourth screen snapshot below is the Battle Report which shows that my fleet easily crushed the Krynn ship.
I was going to give you a save file so that you can see this for yourself, but after I loaded my most recent save file to prove that this issue would predictably happen, the Krynn ship still attacked my fleet, but the Battle Predictor gave an accurate prediction of the results as shown in the fifth screen snapshot below. Therefore, I do not believe that providing a save file would be of value for this issue.
However, I am going to provide you with the save file so that you can experience what happens in the late stages of a game:

The things I would like for you to look for as you play it are:
- The large stacks of A.I. civilization ships
- What it looks like when you hover over a citizen to view their happiness
- The tedium of managing large numbers of core worlds and shipyards
- The hard crashes and unusual behaviors like the one described above
- Hover over my Prestige percentage of 84% to show the Prestige Victory screen that breaks down my score and try to explain how it makes sense that my Military contribution is only 10 while my Manufacturing contribution is 663.
Sorry for the rant, but I have been trying to finish this game today so that I can start a new game tomorrow under the new version that is supposed to be released tomorrow and it is a frustratingly slow slog with crashes and bugs galore.
