I am not sure which part of this is wrong, but something is not right.
The first screen snapshot below shows 2 things:
- What training an Entrepreneur is supposed to get you
- Increased Income base on the citizen's Social
- Increased Manufacturing based on the citizen's Diligence (this is a part of the issue)
- I cannot train an Entrepreneur because I have not researched the Invisible Hand technology
The second screen snapshot shows that I have 3 Entrepreneurs on my home world. I have them because the game assigns a role to each citizen as it is added to the world and the game seems to be willing to assign roles that I have not researched. So far, I have not been able to figure-out the logic the game uses to assign roles to each new citizen.
The third screen snapshot shows the description that appears when I hover over the Entrepreneur icon attached to a citizen. Note that it does not say anything about Manufacturing like the description in the first screen snapshot does.
The fourth screen snapshot shows the popup that appears when I hover over one of my Entrepreneurs. Note that it says "Gross Income +4%" (1% per Social value), but does not say anything about increased Manufacturing.
The issues are:
- If the game is not going to grant increased Manufacturing for Entrepreneurs based on their Diligence, then the description shown in the first screen snapshot needs to be changed.
- If the game is going to assign roles to new citizens as they are added, then:
- Shouldn't the pool of available roles be limited to what the player has researched?
- Shouldn't the player be given the option to assign new citizens to roles? Perhaps this could be a toggle switch that allows the player to assign roles when they want to and let the game assign roles automatically when they don't.
