There aren't any. They have been requested before but I don't think it will happen. I use Speedfan and the guy who developed it said that many of the motherboard manufactures will not release the specs on their proprietary units. This makes it hard if not impossible to make a universal CPU monitor. Any widget made could only be guaranteed to work with motherboard on the makers computor. I can't see anybody taking weeks or months to research and make one that would work for everyone. Google CPU Temp Monitors and you will find 4 or 5 of them. Or go to your motherboard site and see if they have a monitor of their own. Monitors put a temp reading in your system tray which I find a lot more useful than something that is hidden behind a window or always on top and in the way. Hope you don't have a Dell because they don't support monitors.

Yea, Dells and monitors are no-no.

The thing is, there are programs that hook in to these monitoring programs. I think the two most common ones are Motehrboard Monitor, but that has been discontinued, and Speedfan http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php.If anyone figured out how to hook into these programs and reviece the CPU temp numbers then we could get something interesting.

Perhaps, if someoen appreached the author of Speedfan suggesting that he made some API for his program, when I bet we'd pretty soon get plenty of front-end GUI's popping up.
