So, I havent played the game yet, so take this with a grain of salt.
Anywho.. I understand that there are "only" 5 different ship designs in the game. I imagine that either through the community, or through our great developers here, we will eventually see more ship "templates" for the game.
I was just thinking that it would be nice if all "excess" ship designs beyond the original five could be placed in a folder which the minor races could use to randomly select a type of ship when they appeared on the map. Thought it might add a bit of flare to the game.
Long as im posting this idea.. I was just curious if the developers planned on eventually giving every race its own ship design?... considering the time and effort put into the 5 that we have.. I imagine that is a pretty tall order.. but I thought id ask anyway
