Minimap suggestions

It would be nice to have an option for the minimap, to mark starbases as well. They are sometimes hard to find. Same is true for unused resources. SO perhaps it would be better to have an option to highlite resources, colored by their owner rather than by their type.

It would be nice to see just starbases without all the ships on the minimap. Is it possible to toggle the ship button on minimap to: On, Ships, Starbase, Ships and Starbases, Off?
