Game Submitted Under Incorrect Player Name

I'm up at my parents for the weekend and I finished a game and submitted it. Unfortunately I used Essex99 instead of my registered name of Essex. I read the rules and it says if you do something like this you are basically out of luck.

Does anyone know if this is absolutely true or is there some way I can get that game moved to the correct account?
