Bradian AI

Hmm the Bradian AI just gave up and gave me their system. Altho, they had a very high-quality planet and I wasnt in any quadrant near him with systems or starbases. Hmm. I loaded the autosave and checked the influence values, I was the third place in that quadrant in influence, the top civ had over 3 times my value. However, the Bradian AI didnt give up this time. So I'll wait and see what happens. The Brad AI has the highest pop in the quadrant (and the ones next to it too. About three times higher than the next-highest)

Hmmm, well, I guess I was closest civ morally. A lotta turns afterwords (with the loaded game where they didnt surrender to me) they surrendered to teh Torian.

Hmm wonder why they gave up. Torian wasnt in any quadrant near them either.

I think it's pretty random who a civ surrenders too... just not anyone they are at war with...

I think they should at least have contact with you before they surrender. I have had several surrender to me that didnt have contact yet. Though this hasn't happened with the newest build so may have been changed. At any rate empires surrender much too easily the way it is.

When you say the AI surrenders too easily, there are at least two reasons this could happen: 1) You are extremely good at this game or 2) You have the intelligence settings of the AIs set to supper dumb. Some people have commented that they can't even get started with the game, and that they think the AIs are too difficult.
