ObjectDock respons on click instead of rollOver? / System tray not shown?

I really like the ObjectDock but i want to setup some things and can't find these options... they are either not possible or i can't find them, so if anyone can help me out here i would be gratefull


First thing: Is it possible to make the tabbed bar respond on a mouse click on a tab instead of mouseOver? I want to click the section i want and then let it open that tab, not first let it move down using mouseover (i'v got it on the top of my screen) and then again click on the tab i want. It's annoying.


Second thing: On the normal dock with active progs is it possible to view the actual system tray programs, like MSN, Winamp, Gmail Notifier etc... Because now it only shows the active programs that normally are in my taskbar, but not the background system tray programs that normally shows at the bottom right of the taskbar. I tried to add Gmail notifier for instance but then i just run the program each time instead of the active "Gmail mail check" in my system tray.

Right click the tabbed dock > Dock Settings > Positioning > uncheck "Mouse activation".

Second thing: On the normal dock with active progs is it possible to view the actual system tray programs

In the Tabs & Styles section click the Add Tab button, and select "Add a system tray tab".
Or create a standard dock, and in the Properties dialog > Dock Contents, check the "Show system tray icons on the dock"

Thanx a lot... first thing works now


Second thing isn't working. When i select "Show system tray icons on the dock" it doesn't show anything besides the standard "System Commands" and "Quit Dock".

do you have 'mcp notification' enabled in SDC - tools - settings - general?

Stardock Central. It the "Front End" installer for all of Stardock's programs. Even if you only use Object Dock I would suggest installing it. Ince you register your program in it it will give you access to all the update posted for that program for the term of your purchase. You can download it here Link
