Diplomacy Suggestion

Hi All,

One option in the diplomacy screen that would be useful is the ability to ask (or demand) that one civilization declare peace with another.

Is this possible?

I would like to see this too.., then one of the victory conditions is Peace for 20 years starting after year 20 or something.

two alien civs are at war you are allied with one. Your Ally will demand you join the war, you should able to say we are peacefull and demand you ask for peace before we declare war and if you do not ask for a peace treaty we want to break the alliance.

I would like the diplomatic option of threathening another country not to accept the surrender of a third country. If I am at war with empire A and it decides to surrender to empire B, I want to tell empire B that if it absorbs empire A then I will consider it an act of war.

or make it so they cant surrender to B unless they are at war with B,

but maybe make a treaty which allows races to join a civilisation such as a race applying for membership etc rather than surrendering which is rather dull in the gaming side.

How about calling an emergency united planets meeting to stop wars. See if we can make it work like the UN is supposed to.
