colony cheat

I been using a colonization cheat in my games. Very helpful if I want to play either Good or Evil. The cheat works as follows:
When my colony ships first approaches a star, I save the game. Then I colonize the planet. If I don't like the results, I load game and try again. I've gotton a few +40 planet improvement this way.
My suggestion: when a colony ship opens the star/planet window and colonizes a planet, a cookie is created for that star/planet on the HD. This cookie would contain the colonization results: worms, starships, seacreatures, ect (or none). The game would use the pre-existing cookie before creating a new one. Saving the game won't work as the cookie is independent of the save feature. When a new cilivation is created, all these cookies are deleted on the first save.
