Only played 3 games, 2 at largest galaxy side, and in both have CDT .. no idea why, but occurs late in the game when trying to build one more thing. (latest when building star fort, prior when selecting new build on planet).

Other game in next to last size was able to play all the way through.
If effor log is maintained somewhere have not found same yet.

It has seemed more stable to me than before only had 1 CTD out of 5 games started.

More stable but I have had a number of bugs related to screens overlaying one another.

1. I had a peace request and a tech complete screen overlay each other.
2. Tech complete screen did not come up but the little screen at the bottom right of the map said I was on the tech screen. When I click on a ship I had two sets of arrows (one for the announcer and one for the ship)

Some ships still stop short of there end points.

Some ships still stop at anomolies

AI will still sell its last planet if you give it enough tech and trade goods.

Thats about it.

It is more stable than previous builds over all, but I have gotten late game CTDs in the two games I have played. Always occurs late in the game, and so far is repeatable from saved games.

I definitely find it to be more stable. I actually haven't had any crashes with 3E. Bugs, well that's another matter..... ;)

had no crashes with last two builds personally. E seems solid on my machine. Latest Nvidea detonator drivers, Creative Audigy Player, Athlon 1gh, Win XP, Via Mobo latest 4in1 drivers. Sound corruption v bad but you know about that.

If you have a repeatable crash in a saved game, email it to me at [email protected]

I get a crash if I try to invade a particular star system (owned by Pirates).

Have had crashes, the last one caused the game to go to a Red Screen when trying to restore from main menu. Even the
last saved didn't help.

Also, some one else mentioned that when at war my ships
cannot attack those I am at war with, it seems that
the enemy ships and mine are on the same side. Yet I can attack enemy planets with no problems. (:(

The game gives a good impression of being stable until late in the game. I have already reported two crashes I have had, but I have gotten more than one repeat of the "next turn" crash I reported. Restarting the game has been very reliable in getting past the crash, which is another good sign of stability. I have yet to finish my first game on 3E (huge galaxy, good planets "everywhere", trying for a cultural victory), so I have a ways to go yet.
