Forum search, minor 3E bugs & Alliances

First of all, apologies if any of the following have already been mentioned. I have made a quick check of the forum, but it's now getting a little large to check every post! Incidentally, could the forum have a search facility, which should mean that repeated posts are avoided?

Some minor 3E bugs/possible bugs:
1. Spelling errors (really make any game look unprofessional):
- alien creatures wandering into unpopulated areas event: 'dispite', 'wondering' & 'unconfrentational'.
- super soldiers event: 'strengthing' & 'supurb'.
- top 7 most 'influencal' civs annual report.
2. I lost control of the senate with an approval rating of 57% - is this a bug, or could there be a reason for it?
3. The graphs are often flat for no apparent reason - happens with several of the graphs, at different times.

Lastly, can anyone tell me the prerequisites for making alliances? Is it just that both parties should have the alliance technology, or is there more to it?

A couple of other things asked for in the past for the forum were spell checking and read marking. At the time (many months ago) Stardock told us that it would be taken care of when they had the time, that GC came first.
