Ok, evil is alot more than deciding to kill a few sea creatures or tearing down some ruins. What about unprovoked wars and attacks? The Altarians are supposed to be good - but they just launched an unprovoked war on me - how can that be good? I think actions such as this should count far more on the good and evil scale than seizing an unidentified ship orbiting one of your planets. Does the game factor things like this or not?

The AI's opinion toward you is already shown in the relations screen. If relations go toward hostile, you know a war is coming.

I do tend to agree that one good race should not go to war as easily as it does against another good race, just because the other race is a weak military power. I would expect that more from an evil race. :)
