Resource visibility on Gigantic maps
Am I the only one having this problem?

Would it be at all possible to make resources a bit more visible on the minimap?
On a small map its pretty easy to spot them, but on a Gigantic size map I find that even if I go through the process of zooming in, fiddling the filters, and scanning all over my empire, sometimes I'll end up missing a resource or two-- a fact which I will only realize once I encounter an enemy starbase, happily mining away.
Grr.
I find myself wishing that maybe resources were represented by larger (maybe differently colored?) dots on the minimap, or there was an option to make them blink, or something.
