That's your problem. This game needs 2005 drivers to do anything. I THINK 2004s will run, but they wont run well. 2002 drivers will simply not work with this game, ever.

Not sure on that card, but odds are you'll need a new one if it's 2002 based. Get a newish card from about 2005, update it to 2006 drivers, and it should run without a hitch.

1) You need to patch up to the latest version. You can get 1.31 on the downloads page.

2) Your onboard video does not meet the game's minimum requirements, so you're going to have other problems even if it does work.

3) Your video drivers are horribly, horribly out of date. Get new ones at nvidia.com or omegadrivers.net.

Thanks. I also realized that that debug.err was from AFTER I reinstalled the gam, so it was from 1.0X or something. I had the same problem with 1.31 before I reinstalled the game from the disks.

I will update the video drivers asap and hopefully I will be back up and running at the somewhat slower than comfortable speed I was at before.

Re-updated drivers again. Now everything works correctly! Thanks for helping out a clearly blind GC2 player.
