The Imperial Guard gathered round the wounded Emperor BlueSteel for the Last Stand.

"Save yourselves," gasped Blue. His brow glistened with the Beads of Heroicism

Evil Steve eyed the faithful. The faithful eyed him back.

"We must leave this place, so that we might fight again", roared Evil.

Evil Steve threw down the Teaspoon of Endless Toil, opened the Trousers of Endless Soil Capacity, and moved the Wooden Horse of Endless Gymnastic Fortitude.

An escape tunnel.

"While you lot have been trying to beat maso, I've been making a fortune smuggling illegal contraband!", roared Evil financially.

"Huzzah!", roared the Imperial Guard.

Evil hauled the wounded Blue up onto his weary shoulders.

"Are you with me?" roared Evil laconically. "Or am I going to die of embarrassment?"

Drink more or charm more. Quite a choice. But if it is recruits you want, there be plenty out there still. Just got to find the right bait. Maybe it requires both. So does one drink until he thinks he is charming enough to attract the new recruits, or charming enough to get the new recruits to get drunk enough to see if they are made of the stuff ANZACs are made of? Time to get into gear and at least defend that #9 spot if the team cannot climb up out of it. Realms Beyond approaches, slowly but surely.

uh guys i got exams and assignments coming out of my ears at the moment so i can't really get around to getting any postings up, but just a coupla more weeks and tafe will be over for the year and i can sit down for a few days straight and try to make up for it...when i'm not working ofc :notsure:

Lavalamp good job. I salute you O> I have completed another game ,my superior culture had Dregin systems joining our empire in droves. All the snags,beer, and mullets were just to much for them. Hmm that would make a good cultural module. ;) Ahmm in anycase I have reached one of my goals by placing within the top 250. Time to move the bar up but first I would like to ask Evil Steve if he would be willing to take this old Mercenary and make him a permanent member of the Anzacs. The Dregins are not the only ones seduced by the tasty offerings and all round good company of the Anzacs. What say you Steve?
Now as for the Bar being raised I have my sights on the Evil Empire. 9th place just isn't good enough for me. LOL You'll have to forgive my lack of posting this is about the busiest time of year for me with Christmas approaching.

Yes, 30 games and 50,000 personal points. Too bad they never adjusted the rank point spread appropriately to the score inflation... It is only the game limit holding the high rollers back.
